K–8 literacy program tailored to each student’s grade and skill level—phonics through advanced reading, writing, and test readiness in one pathway.
Course Description
ReadingWiz is a single K–8 literacy program built around the student, not a fixed elementary or middle-school track. Placement draws on the grade already on your child’s profile (and their current reading and writing level) so instruction matches where they are—whether that means phonics and fluency, grammar and vocabulary, comprehension strategies, or more advanced analytical reading and writing. The program integrates reading and writing for a well-rounded experience, with consistent practice and critical thinking skills useful for MAP, MCA, and later exam pathways. Students follow a personalized path and typically show measurable growth on assessments such as CogAT and MAP. Offered with flexible weekday and weekend options at St. Barnabas and PCC in Plymouth.
